2026-27 Program Information
Children residing in the Cambridge Central School District who will be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2026 may be eligible for the Cambridge Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (UPK) for the 2026-2027 school year. The program will follow the regular school schedule and hours (7:50 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.).
Timeline
- Prospective Family/Student Open House – Feb. 24, 2026, 5-6 p.m.
- Lottery Registration Deadline – March 31, 2026
- In order to be considered in the lottery, registration must be completed by March 31. Any registration packets received after March 31 will be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist is first come, first serve.
- Lottery Notification – April 13, 2026
- UPK Screening – June 22 & 23, 2026
- Families will be contacted in May to set up a screening appointment for their child.
