SchoolTool Parent/Student Portal

The parent/student portal provides easy access to a variety of school-related information. Some of the features include:

• Daily and period-by-period attendance.
• Progress report grades and report card information.
• Assignment grades for students in grades 4-12.
• Class schedule for grades 7-12.

In order to protect the confidentiality of student records, all parents/guardians who want to use this service are required to fill out the application form and return it in person to any one of your student’s schools. For security purposes, a photo ID is required when you return the form. If you are unable to bring the form in, you may also choose to have the form notarized and emailed to kris.eastman@cambridgecsd.org or mailed to:

Once the information is verified and processed, you will receive notification via email that your account has been created. Your username is your email address. When you receive your password, you will be able to access SchoolTool and change your password.

SchoolTool also has an app you can download. To download the app, search your phone’s app store.

What happens if I forget my user ID or password?
Contact the school by calling 518-677-8527, ext. 1422 or emailing kris.eastman@cambridgecsd.org to have your password reset.

What happens if my email address changes?
Please notify Kris Eastman by calling 518-677-8527, ext. 1422 or emailing kris.eastman@cambridgecsd.org. Once you have notified her of a change to your email address, your parent portal username will be updated to reflect the new email address as well. You should allow from 24 to 48 hours for any changes to be reflected in the system.

How often is information updated in the parent portal?
Demographic, attendance and discipline information is updated in real time. However, you may want to contact individual teachers to ask how often they update assignment information.

How do I add/change/correct my personal information, including address or telephone numbers?
