Dear families,
Earlier this month, we communicated about implementing a phone-free school for the 2024-25 school year.
We wanted to provide some additional information about becoming phone free this fall. Here is an overview video of Yondr in schools. Additionally, here is a video explaining how to open the pouches at the end of the school day. The unlocking mechanisms will be posted at the building exits and in the attendance office, high school office and health office for students who leave prior to the regular dismissal.
It is important to note that a phone-free school includes students wearing smart watches (Apple, Samsung, etc.) that connect to their phone. Additionally, AirPods/headphones will not be allowed. Students are able to wear a watch as long as it does not connect to their phone.
