Summer Programming

Cambridge CSD offers summer programming for students who require additional academic support, a remedial course or would like to participate in enrichment opportunities.

Extended School Year (ESY) Program

The Cambridge Central School District’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program serves school-age students with disabilities who need a 12-month structured learning environment to prevent significant regression. Operating as a 5-hour per day program for 30 days, the ESY program serves school-age students in classes consistent with Part 200 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education. Students who do not need a full-day summer program may receive appropriate related services only as recommended by their local school district’s Committee on Special Education. Transportation is provided to students with disabilities recommended for the ESY program. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.
